März 1936 bewilligt wurde. Die Patent Nr. lautet: 2032695 und wurde ab Ende 1936 mit auf den Boden des Zippo's gepresst. George Gimera and George G. Blaisdell, Bradford, Pa., assignors to Zippo Manufacturing Company, Bradford, Pa., a partnership consisting of George G. Blaisdell, W.G. Blaisdell, Frank W. Calkins, George Gimera, and George B. UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE 2,517,191 PYROPHORIC LIGHTER Da die alte Patent Nummer 2032695 nur 17 Jahre geschützt war, beantragte die Zippo Manufacturing am 12. Oktober 1948 eine neue Patent Nummer. Sie wurde am 01. August 1950, mit der Nummer 2517195 gewährt. Ab Ende 1953 wurde diese neue PAT. Nr. auf den Boden der Zippos gepresst. Ab 01. Sept. 1967 wird "PAT. 2517191" vom Boden entfernt und nicht mehr mitgepresst Lester Flickinger and George G. Blaisdell, Bradford, Pa., assignors to Zippo Manufacturing Company, Bradford, Pa., a corporation of Pennsylvania Application October 12, 1948, Serial No. 54,064 Patented Aug. 1, 1950
